Calling the Mental Health Line is a great first step. It is a mental health referral service that is open 24/7. A trained health professional will answer your call. They will ask some questions so they can connect you to the right care for your needs.
Extra counselling services are now available in rural communities. You can access these services directly or get a referral from your GP or nearest community health centre. Find one in your area.
SPOT is a mobile service that can come to you. Suicide Prevention Outreach Teams (SPOT) help people who are in distress, suicidal or at risk of self-harm. Find out how to get help.
