​ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Health is delivering key genomic healthcare initiatives under the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Health Genomics Strategy to provide greater accuracy in determining disease risk, assessing diagnosis and prognosis, and informing the selection of therapeutic options for care. This ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Health genomic testing information program of work was delivered in accordance with Focus Area 1 and 2 of the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Health Genomics Strategy Implementation Plan (2021-25) that aims to ensure advances in health genomics are incorporated into new and existing clinical pathways to provide safe, cost effective, equitable and beneficial disease prevention and management across ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø.
ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Health has co-designed a genomic testing information sheet and video with consumers, consumer groups and clinicians to provide key information for patients and families to make an informed decision about genomic testing. ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Health have developed the following resources to ensure patients and families have the information and time needed to help make a choice that is right for them.
