Shared Understanding Project consultation insights report

The Shared Understanding Project aims to ensure that ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Health, Local Health Districts and partner organisations are working effectively with communities in the planning and delivery of health services and models of care.

It is vital that health service changes and improvements are informed by, understood, trusted and embraced by our communities. Through this shared understanding of community expectations of healthcare, we will be better placed to provide health services that meet local needs.

To understand how ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Health can better collaborate with our community, consumers and carers, staff and partners to create a shared understanding in planning and delivering health services, we engaged more than 300 individuals across the state from July to December 2024.

This Consultation Insights Report details the consultation activities undertaken for the project and summarises key insights from the engagement sessions. It presents an analysis of the input and comments from more than 300 individuals from across ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø. These insights will inform a Recommendations Report, which will be developed by mid-2025.
