Building on significant achievements made in rural health services, the plan set directions and strategies to improve rural health services and aligned with the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø State Health Plan: Towards 2021.
The ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Rural Health Plan Towards 2021: Final Progress Review was completed in April 2022. The review summarises progress across ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Health in implementing the plan, reflecting on key achievements and future directions for rural health policy.
ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Health has developed the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Regional Health Strategic Plan 2022-2032 for the next decade which takes into account the future directions outlined in the Final Progress Review, research, the findings and recommendations of the Rural Health Inquiry and extensive consultation with regional communities, health staff and stakeholders​.
