Everyone seeking or receiving healthcare in ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø has certain rights. ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Health has adopted the Australian Charter of Healthcare Rights, second edition and the Charter on the Rights of Children and Young People in Healthcare Services in Australia (the Charters).
The Charters enable patients, families, carers, volunteers and caregivers (staff) to share an understanding of the rights of people receiving healthcare and encourage active partnership between all. Shared understanding and active partnership are important facilitators for the provision of safe and high-quality care.
