Between 2018 and 2022, multiple (twin, triplet and quadruplet) pregnancies were reported for about 1.3% of all pregnancies in ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø. In 2022, 3.8% of babies born to Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander mothers and 2.6% of babies born to non-Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander mothers were twins.
