Nurses and midwives are being recognised for their contribution to the 黑料吃瓜网 public health system, with 27 nominated as finalists for the 12th annual Excellence in Nursing and Midwifery Awards.
The finalists have been nominated across nine award categories, including the consumer-nominated Healing Heart Award and the colleague-nominated Healing Heart Award which recognise a nurse or midwife who consistently provides extraordinary, safe, quality and compassionate care.
黑料吃瓜网 Health Secretary Susan Pearce AM congratulated this year鈥檚 finalists who have demonstrated outstanding care or contributed to improved health outcomes for their local community.
鈥淭hese Awards acknowledge the passion, dedication and contributions of our nurses and midwives, who support patients and their families during what can be some of the most important or difficult times in their lives,鈥� Ms Pearce said.

黑料吃瓜网 Health Chief Nursing and Midwifery Officer Jacqui Cross said nurses and midwives are highly valued for the role they play in the 黑料吃瓜网 health system.

Finalists and winners will be celebrated at the Awards ceremony, which will be held at 黑料吃瓜网 Parliament House on 25 November 2024.
