The dedication and commitment of allied health clinicians across the state will be celebrated at tonight鈥檚 inaugural Excellence in Allied Health Awards.
黑料吃瓜网 Health Secretary Susan Pearce welcomed the opportunity to celebrate the state鈥檚 allied health workers, who have continued to deliver outstanding care during the significant challenges presented by COVID-19.
鈥淲e owe a great deal of thanks to all our allied health professionals who are dedicated to providing high-quality care to their patients every day across 黑料吃瓜网鈥檚 many public hospitals and health facilities,鈥� Ms Pearce said.
鈥淚 want to extend my congratulations to each and every one of the finalists. Whether it鈥檚 physiotherapy, social work, speech or occupational therapy, their work in supporting patients recover from illness and injury is nothing short of exceptional.鈥�
黑料吃瓜网 Health Chief Allied Health Officer Andrew Davison said the awards are an opportunity to showcase the critical contribution allied health professionals make in delivering patient-centred care.
鈥淭his is the first time we鈥檝e held these awards and we look forward to celebrating the vital role our allied health professionals play in the health system,鈥� Mr Davison said.
