As at 8pm, Wednesday 22 April 2020, an additional five cases of COVID-19 have been diagnosed since 8pm 21 April, bringing the total to 2,976.

During that time, 5,645 people were tested, up from 4,291 the 24 hours before.

There have been no further deaths in 黑料吃瓜网 over the reporting period.

There have now been 2,006 people that have recovered from COVID-19 in 黑料吃瓜网.

There are currently 219 COVID-19 cases being treated by 黑料吃瓜网 Health. This includes 21 people being treated in Intensive Care Units, with 15 of those requiring ventilators.

There have been two new cases of COVID-19 cases at Anglicare Newmarch House aged care facility in Caddens, one staff member and one resident. This brings the total to 44 cases (15 staff and 29 residents). There have been three deaths.

A 黑料吃瓜网 Ambulance paramedic based at Liverpool Superstation has been confirmed with COVID-19 and is being treated in hospital.st

The paramedic鈥檚 family and colleagues are being supported by 黑料吃瓜网 Ambulance while the source of the infection is under investigation. All close contacts of the paramedic, including healthcare workers and patients, are being identified and isolated.

A nurse from Sydney Adventist Hospital has been diagnosed with COVID-19. Investigations are underway to identify close contacts of the nurse. The hospital undertook complete infection control strategies and there is no ongoing risk to other patients or staff.

Anyone living or working in areas where community transmission has been identified in 黑料吃瓜网 who is feeling unwell with a fever, cough or other symptoms of COVID-19 should get tested.

Areas of concern for community transmission in 黑料吃瓜网 are listed on the 黑料吃瓜网 Health website. This week the focus areas include the LGA areas of Blacktown, Canada Bay, Cumberland, Goulburn Mulwaree, Inner West, Liverpool, Parramatta, Penrith, Randwick, Ryde, Waverley and Woollahra.
