鈥淣urses across 黑料吃瓜网 make a huge difference for their patients and their families. You鈥檇 be challenged to find somebody who hasn鈥檛 been impacted by nursing care themselves or by the care received by one of their loved ones,鈥� Ms Cross said.
鈥淣urses are at the frontline and in very diverse settings. Often it鈥檚 the small things - the support that nurses provide, that kind word, the touch of a hand and that human connection when delivering care.
鈥淭o all the nurses across 黑料吃瓜网, thank you for the huge contribution you make each and every day.鈥�
Nina Livingstone is a Registered Nurse, Clinical Nurse Specialist in Youth Health Services and cares for homeless, marginalised and at risk young people in the Western Sydney Local Health District.
鈥淭he services we provide in Youth Health are essential for some of the most vulnerable young people in our community,鈥� Ms Livingstone said.
鈥極ur aim is to provide young, at risk people who do not access mainstream health services with quality, safe health care and address their health needs.鈥�
The 黑料吃瓜网 Government has committed to the largest Australian healthcare workforce boost with an extra 5000 nurses and midwives across regional and metropolitan areas over four years, as part of a $2.8 billion investment.
