Contracts of liability coverage

Forensic and correctional patients

The Mental Health (Forensic Provisions) Act 1990 allows information sharing and security protocols to be entered in respect of forensic and correctional patients by the Secretary of the Ministry of Health and the Secretary of the Department of Human Services (in respect of juvenile forensic and correctional patients) and the Commissioner of Corrective Services (in respect of adult forensic and correctional patients).

Memorandum of Understanding regarding Guthrie blood spots

The Memorandum of Understanding between ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Health and the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Police Service established a protocol for access by the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Police Service to Newborn Screening Blood Samples (Guthrie blood spots) held by ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Health.

Memorandum of Understanding regarding Albury Wodonga Health

The Memorandum of Understanding between ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Health and the Victorian Department of Health and Human Services clarifies the provision of mental health services within Albury Wodonga Health.

Interstate mental health agreements

A number of agreements between ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø and other States have been developed to allow the cross-border transfer of persons covered by mental health legislation.

• apprehension of absconding civil patients.
