Prof Vitali Sintchenko: I would like to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which we meet today, their people and pay my respects to the elders past and present.

We built our solution on existing infrastructure and translational research. This solution is using microbial genomics.

As a result of it, we can provide missing links to public health and help them to trace contacts, to trace exposures, to trace risk factors associated with transmission.
